Setup for Steelhead in Deschutes river

The Deschutes is a magical place, a cold flowing river cutting through high desert mountains and canyons. We arrived at the mouth of the river where we were greeted by a dog named Rolf and fella named Curtis. we then proceeded to get into a 225hp jetboat where we ripped up the canyon like days of thunder. As we approach camp and realise this is home for the next few days the excitement sets in and we are in the heart of summer steelhead country.

The next few days were filled with fishing,  cooking out and sleeping under the stars, the feelings had been some that a few pitty little words on a page can not describe and can only be felt when there so hopefully the photos and soon video will give you a glimpse into the magic that was felt with great friends and times in the high desert.
